Criss Angel got in a little bit of a pickle last night on the show Phenomenon. Now if you haven't watched it yet, it's about these mentalists competing to be the best. Last night a man tried to prove that he was being channelled by a dead author. It came off looking corny and fake.
I am glad I found a clip of it...but it is the guy who went after Criss who owns the clip. I don't like how he bashes Criss at the end but it's still interesting to see...
Phenomenon the show on NBC is premiering tonight.The show, hosted by Uri Geller and Criss Angel, is essentially a cross between a magic show and American Idol. Ten mentalists and mystifiers will demonstrate their talents each week on a panel of celebrity guests, and viewers at home will choose which contestants stay and which go home.
Page Six is reporting that ILLUSIONIST Criss Angel is a "press whore" who's just "using" Britney Spears to get more attention and fame for himself, friends of his say. Angel - who just signed a 10-year deal with the Luxor in Las Vegas that will net him almost $10 million a year - was "ecstatic" when his manager, Jeff Kwatinetz, asked him to meet with Spears, who was interested in using illusion in her VMA performance this Sunday.
The two "hooked up the night they met" and Angel has been "using her to get press ever since," we're told. A Vegas spy said, "He doesn't even really talk to her when they go out. This weekend at [club] LAX, they weren't seated at the same table, but when the paparazzi were around he jumped in all the pictures. . . . The paparazzi all have his number." Meanwhile, some of the stories leaked to the tabloids about how Angel was orchestrating a big VMA number for Spears using mirrors are false. "She is just doing a straight-up performance of her new single, 'Gimme More,' " a spy said. Kwatinetz didn't return calls.

E! online says Spears and Angel were looking quite cozy during the evening. While he has insisted they’re just friends and that Spears asked him to help with her maybe-performance at MTV’s Video Music Awards on Sept. 9 in Vegas, a source reports that the two were spotted after LAX at a local McDonald's, holding hands and sharing a couple of smooches.
Spears and Angel are said to have stopped by after-hours club Noir Bar.

Criss Angel says he can't help it that he is linked to such popular women! People magazine is reporting that: "I just live my life," the Las Vegas magician and A&E Mindfreak star, 39, tells Parade magazine in its new issue about his seemingly magic spell over such women as Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Cameron Diaz and – most recently – Britney Spears.
Angel tells Parade about the sightings of him with Spears, "She had contacted me regarding some live performances. I've designed and created many effects for even Steve Wynn's hotel and Le Reve show. And that's what I do. So they brought me on to discuss the possibility of working on some stuff with her." He adds, "And, being that I'm insanely busy, the only time that I had was in the evening. And she was busy doing stuff, so we met in the evening." He also says the two of them were anything but alone together.
"What you failed to see is, when we meet, there's a lot of other people around a bunch of the time," he says. Okay Criss...do you think I could get a meeting with you then? WINK! WINK!
Criss Angel is denying everything with Britney Spears. According to TMZ.com he insisted he was just helping her plan for a possible performance at the upcoming VMAs.
"We were talking about how she wants to do something more with the [awards] show, and about me helping out and hoping to work with her on doing something to make her MTV appearance more innovative," he insists. Apparently the two share the same manager, and Criss thought he could impart some magically delicious wisdom on the pop tart.
How could Criss even begin to help that poor girl? I hope she doesn't make a fool out of herself!
I can't even believe this myself. Criss Angel and Britney Spears??? WTF!! Criss give your head a shake! Us Weekly is reporting that they were together Wednesday night. Criss was seen escorting the pop star inside the Tower Beverly Hills Hotel on Wednesday night, where the two held hands and headed up to a suite on the 11th floor. OMG!!!
Life&Style Weekly is reporting that Lindsay Lohan and Criss Angel were seen together on July 14 at a club. Could this be a new romance budding? I guess we will have to wait and see!

“It is with great sadness and disappointment that I feel the need to dignify and refute the inaccuracies, blatant lies and misrepresentations that my estranged wife and her attorney made last week in a New York courtroom and continue to make in the press. Just under 50% of marriages in this country end in divorce and, as most people understand, it is a very difficult thing to endure. To have it played out in the court of public opinion with misleading statements, lies and innuendo is particularly disturbing and disappointing. I would like to set the record straight with the hopes that this process can proceed in privacy.
My estranged wife filed for divorce on May 5, 2006, over fourteen months ago. When she filed her complaint over one year ago, and when she amended it twice she made no mention of alleged adultery or lack of financial support. The fact that they decided to play both of those cards for the first time last week demonstrates their willingness to manufacture stories for their own purposes.
I have always supported JoAnn’s every expense in the past prior to her filing for divorce in May of 2006 and continue to do so to this day. She has had unlimited access to credit cards that I pay for. I have paid for her cell phone, her car, her gas, her car insurance, her health insurance, trips she has taken even the smallest thing like her cat food. Essentially, I have paid for her every expense. I have also paid for her housing the entire time. In fact, the townhouse where she is currently living and that I am paying for is larger than any place she has ever lived and is also a rent-free home to her brother, the brother who had no problem taking shots at me in the press while he is separated from his wife and small child. JoAnn’s claim that I stopped supporting her is simply false. The statement about lack of support by her and her family is both shocking and a prime example that they will stop at nothing to paint me in the press as some sort of monster in order to extort more money out of me.
Her claim that she was my “secret” wife is preposterous and inaccurate. Our marriage was well known to my friends and all of my fans worldwide. She was featured prominently in the first two seasons of my show. She and her family were thanked and credited in every episode and in my recent autobiography.
The fact that they have tried to use Cameron Diaz to accomplish their ends is a sign of their desperation. Here too they have their facts wrong and are attempting to mislead. Anyone that reads the press can figure out the timeline. Cameron and I met in May of this year at the VH1 Rock Honors show, over a year after JoAnn’s initial filing. She and I went on four or five dates and there is no current relationship between us. Cameron is a good friend and an amazing person and to defame her and myself and paint her as the reason for my marriage’s demise is factually inaccurate, ridiculous and just plain wrong. It seems clear, and very unfortunate to me that JoAnn and her attorney both hope that these false statements will provide my estranged wife, who has also been dating during this time, the financial windfall she is obviously seeking.
I hope that this statement of facts can help clear the air about the myriad of preposterous and salacious accusations that have come out in the past few days and put the process back in the courtroom where it belongs. It has never been my intention to play this out publicly but JoAnn’s false public statements have left me no alternative. I am very confident when all of the facts are presented in court that JoAnn’s true motive will be revealed for what it is.” Signed, Criss Angel
AOL news is reporting that Diaz is denying that she broke up Criss Angel and his wife. Her publicist is saying that the actress met Criss in May, over a year after Criss separated from his wife. And he goes on to say Cameron and Criss went on only four dates over a month ago and have no current relationship.

I was watching Mindfreak last night. It was from Friday's show. He was doing a "stunt" where he laid shards of glass on the ground and layed over top of it and then...get ready for this...have a steam roller run over him. I thought for sure he would chicken out and it wouldn't even happy but how silly of me really when I saw the steam roller start to roll over his feet. What would posess anyone to do this? He got up to his lower back when he finally had had enough and told them to stop. I thought the weirdest part was when he did the voiceover he said something along the lines of...while I was laying there in shock I wondered if this time I had gone too far....THIS TIME??? I tell you watching that was the most horrible thing. I even saw little kids in the audience. This wasn't a "stunt" it was stupidity. I really like...I mean LOVE Criss...I am even thinking of getting a tattoo of his symbol on me...but I really am shaking my head on this one. Criss we love you....take care of yourself. Criss Angel has always been a favorite of mine. I know I like alot of the guys but I like them all for different reasons. With Criss (he's 39!!!) he likes to mess with your head. He used to have a show in Vegas called "Mind Freak" even before the show "Mind Freak" on A&E. That show was featured on tv a while ago and it was mostly dramatics. The things Criss does are amazing.
