People is reporting that Ellen Degeneres is in trouble with a pet adoption agency.

First of all, I am a HUGE fan of Ellen's. I love her for who she is and what she does. I don't think she meant to do what she did. She was doing what she thought was right.

DeGeneres and her partner, Portia de Rossi, took home a Brussels Griffon mix named Iggy on Sept. 20, but when things didn't work out between Iggy and the couple's cats, the TV host gave the dog to her hairdresser.

In doing so, DeGeneres, 49, violated an agreement with the Mutts and Moms dog rescue agency – by not informing them of the switch-off, reports the Associated Press. In a follow-up to the adoption, the agency called DeGeneres to inquire about Iggy, and was told another home was found for him. Mutts and Moms then dispatched a rep to the hairdresser's home on Sunday and removed Iggy.

"I feel totally responsible for it and I'm so sorry. I'm begging them to give that dog back to that family," she says. "It's not their fault. It's my fault. I shouldn't have given the dog away. Just please give the dog back to those little girls."

Britney Spears turned herself in last night at around 9 p.m. to a Los Angeles police station to be booked for a hit and run that happened August 6. (during which paparazzi filmed Spears steering her car into another vehicle as she tried to turn into a spot in a Studio City parking lot) She left shortly after.

She is being charged with charges of hit and run and driving without a valid licence.

People is reporting...Pamela Anderson being married less than a week, is shooting down rumors that she's going to have another child – again. "Please tell everybody – categorically I am not pregnant," Anderson told Las Vegas celebrity blogger Robin Leach.

"It's just not true," the mother of two added to Leach, who interviewed her at a party Wednesday night for airline magnate Richard Branson. "I would tell you if it was."

Katie Holmes and Suri went out for a walk on Sunday in Berlin. They were joined by Tom Cruise's mom, Mary Lee.

I always enjoy pictures of Suri, she always seems so happy and uneffected by all the paparazzi around her.

Are Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise trying for a second child? Entertainmentwise.com is reporting that they are. The couple have apparently decided the time is right to give 18-month-old Suri a brother or sister, and Katie has sought out a nutritionist to help her conceive.
The actress is now on a course of pre-natal vitamin supplements, having increased her green vegetable intake and cut out raw fish from her diet.

“Katie feels Suri is the right age to try for another," a pal tells the Mirror.
