According to Just Jared Nicole Richie served 82 minutes in jail of her 4 day sentence. The statement from the jail reads as:

“On August 23 2007, at 3:15 PM Miss Nicole Camille Richie reported to CRDF and surrendered herself following a July 27 arrest, she was sentenced to serve 96 hours in County Jail. Miss Richie was accompanied by her attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley and her boyfriend Joel Madden. Miss Richie was booked and processed into the jail system. Miss Richie was cooperative during the process. Based on her sentence and federal court guidelines, Miss Richie was released at 4:37 PM today.”

Added sheriff’s spokeswoman Kerri Webb, “She was processed into the jail system, she was highly cooperative and she was released.”

I was just checking TMZ.com for some gossip and boy did I find one here. Here is Jake Gyllenhaal getting candy in Martha's Vineyard where he is vacationing. Hey, he can bring some of his candy my way!! I have to tell you ... I really really like this picture.... And those rolled up pants are wow!!

Reese Witherspoon has become the highest paid actress. She will be paid $29 million for her appearances in the 2009 horror film ‘Our Family Troubles’. That is even higher than Julia Roberts. Way to go Reese!!

Popcrunch is reporting that Britney Spears' dog London has a broken leg. How did this happen do you ask?? Britney Spears put the three pound pup in a crib with sons Sean and Jayden, who subsequently tossed the pet onto the floor. Britney’s cousin Alli heard London’s whimpering and rushed the dog to the vet. Now is that logical? Something wrong with this picture???

I'm glad to finally hear that Bridget Moynahan had her baby. It seems like she has been huge for a long time! She had the baby yesterday in LA. Both baby and mother are doing fine. The father of the baby is Tom Brady. Congrats to both of you!
