People is reporting that Owen Wilson has given his first interview...to his longtime friend, director Wes Anderson. The interview will be posted online Friday at midnight. There is no word on whether Wilson will address his recent troubles.

Three weeks after his suicide attempt, Owen Wilson looked at peace this weekend at Los Angeles’ Venice Beach with older brother Andrew.

Still, the memory of Wilson’s troubled times loomed large, as scars from his wrist-slashing were apparent for the first time. In pictures from the U.K.’s Daily Mail, evidence of the 38-year-old actor's self-harm can be seen, even as he dries off in the sun after taking a dip in the Pacific.

This is the first picture of Owen Wilson since getting out of the hospital. Access Hollywood reports that Wilson, pictured here, was caught by snappers on Saturday September 1, as the car he was riding in became stuck in traffic. Owen looked stoic as he sat in the backseat of the vehicle, with an unidentified child and a dog. Next to his brother Andrew Wilson, who was driving the car, was a male friend.

Owen Wilson is home now but being watched closely.

"Owen is in bad mental shape but said he is thankful to be alive," says a source close to the actor, who had returned to his Santa Monica home on Saturday. "He knows he came close to ending his life, and he is happy that he was saved from himself. He is basically at home with people watching him 24/7."

Wilson's rep declined to comment.

I am glad that Owen is starting to feel better. My thoughts go out to him and his family.

Just Jared has confirmed from his sources that Owen Wilson did in fact try to commit suicide. It was said that Owen has been depressed for the last couple of months but its not because of a broken relationship.

Owen has released this statement through his rep: ”I respectfully ask that the media allow me to receive care and heal in private during this difficult time.”

Owen we are thinking of you!

Just Jared is reporting that Owen Wilson attempted suicide and was hospitalized, reports The National Enquirer and Star magazine.

“He sliced his left wrists and took an indeterminate amount of pills,” the rags reported. “He was discovered by a family member who summoned help. His wrist was sutured and bandaged at the hospital.”

This all went down around noon at Owen’s house on Sunday.

Owen was stabilized at St. John’s hospital in Santa Monica, Calif.

I hope that everything is going to be okay...my thoughts go out to Owen and his family.
